2012 Magnetic Pole Reversal?

The facts I have learned about our planet and solar system as a result of 2012 are far beyond what I expected. For example, a magnetic pole reversal is simply the change in north and south poles, while a pole shift is a movement of lava in the core of the planet that actually changes the Earth’s axis of rotation. And armed with that information I doubt you can get anyone to engage me in conversation over a cup of coffee. Let me turn to what seems to be a bit of res judicata in relation to 2012 and all that. There are two things we have to validate. A magnetic pole reversal happens in the first place, when there has been a sustained reduction of the magnetic force of the Earth. And guess what? We’re seeing that happen. Only in the last 150 years the earth’s magnetic force has declined by 10%. You will have to accelerate in the next three years, but nobody is saying it can not, or not. Second, is the increased energy from the sun. Enough energy from Sun SPOT increased activity can greatly disrupt the magnetic field: a field that is already on the ropes: borrowing a metaphor from boxing. The increase of 30-50% of potential in sunspot activity is expected for 2012 does not bode well for the planet Earth. This potential double jeopardy is more than a possibility. It is a matter of intensity. Finally, then, what would be the result of a magnetic pole reversal, since none of us have lived through one? The speculations of those who have much more knowledge and scientific information than I would say the tides, tectonic plates shift, earthquakes, floods, and a plethora of volcanic eruptions. Need I say more? Life as we know it would be no more, gone, done, and history? And our poor feathered friends are displayed in places never before visited. 
Needless to say, the north pole is already in motion. Many think that we can thank the 26th December 2004 earthquake and tsunami that. the North Pole has shifted from northern Canada and goes to Siberia. I guess the Russians now claim ownership to that too! Things have never ever experienced what is happening. Who would have thought that the earthquake 12/26/2004 alter the shape of the earth and the pitcher on the planet in a slightly different axis of rotation.
As a spiritual-futurist, I have a degree in history. You can not tell the future without knowing the past that have clues about what is on the horizon. The world is so rapidly expanding knowledge we are about to enter a turning point that will forever change the earth as we know it.

Matuyama Montonori not be an NME that most people are familiar with or know, even if they could pronounce it. Way back about 90 years, noted some anomalies in some volcanic rocks that were being investigated. It seemed that what was seeingmeant that the poles of the earth mangetic once were but they were then. His article received little attention because no one had much information on these wild ideas. That was then, this is NOW: 2012 and is on the way! Planet X (Nibiru), the photonic band, and a galactic black hole ahead are wild theories. What Montonori discovered it’s done! Rapid transmission in mid-1950′s studies of plate tectonics, the seafloor spreading and continental drift became close to many scientific problems, and with it pole magnetic anomalies. Fast shipping now, we have with the help of Global Polarity Time Scale (GPTS) and other scientists discovered some interesting facts improved. 1-There have been thousands of investments of magnetic poles in the history of the planet. 2-Frequency of investment is wild and varied. 3-There have been setbacks to two less than 50,000 years.4-A polarity reversal occurs at an average of 100,000 years5 “The last investment was 780,000 years ago. 6-Changes may take thousands of years or one was a change from 80% in 13 days. Interpretation of tongues? We’re overdue for a reversal of the poles. Worse, we are behind in the eruption of a super volcano and an asteroid strike. The three on 21 December 2012 at 11:11 pm? No way. Something BIG is our leader than 12. 21. 2012 – more than likely. I’m taking bets! Want to play? And if we have one of the shift from 80% in two weeks or something, is that the end of the earth? Well, it might sell books, but in fact there is no indication that past investments sent mankind (Homo erectus) into extinction. Big losses? You bet. Loss of computers, satellites, power grids, and her favorite TV show. Duh! And then there’s this. Has been authenticated that fluctuations in the geomagnetic field can cause confusion and actually kill the insects. Migratory birds could end up in environments that would end his kind. So let me ask this. Is there a possible link between the declining bee population in the last 2-3 years, with our changing magnetic field? Until now scientists have not reached because of the decline that leads to fewr flowers and of course my annual tomato growth effort. And then we add 2012 to the mix. My my. The end of the world? NO! Magnetic Pole Reversal

So, what’s a magnetic reversal? I know about the North and South Poles. Scientists have been observing changes in the direction of earth’s magnetic field which took place recently as well as in the distant past. NASA’s website features a map showing the gradual northward migration of the north magnetic pole in the past century and a half. This is not science fiction but science fact!
There doesn’t seem to be any pattern that scientists can uncover that will help us predict when the next pole reversal will happen. The range- 5,000 to 50,000 years between reversals. Like, don’t hold your breath!
The strength of this magnetic field in the time of dinosaurs was an estimated 2.5 gauss, or about eighty percent stronger than it is now. The weakening of earth’s magnetism is one of the factors believed to be predictive of a pole reversal. That magnetic field reversals have occurred in the past is confirmed in the geological record. What is unclear is how precisely the transition occurs, and what happens to life forms extant at the time of this pole flip.
While all of this sounds too far out there consider our life source, the SUN!
The sun reverses its magnetic field like clockwork every eleven years at the peak of the sunspot cycle. The next solar flip is due in 2012. South-pointing magnetic flux moves from sunspots, which are intense magnetic loops near the equator of the sun, along “meridional flows” to the north magnetic pole, and vice versa. As the oppositely-directed charge accumulates at the poles the field declines, until eventually the reverse charge predominates
Magnetic reversals have already happened 171 times in the last 76 million years, but who’s counting? Getting closer to home, 14 of them have happened in the last 4.5 million years. Scientists are agreed on a lowering of the strength of the magnetic field is a sign of greater pole reversal.
Around the birth of Jesus, magnetic intensity was the greatest. Today, the intensity is 38% lower. Also, measurements taken from around 1900 show a seven percent drop in intensity.
All of that aside, what we don’t know is what effects such an event would have on life. We can guess, but maybe we should ALL work together to increase our awareness and consciousness instead.

2012 Shift Stuff : Magnetic Field Reversal

Is the earth’s heart beat moving quickly away from Schumann’s Resonance 7.8 hz standard? Is a 13.0 hz possible in the next few years: before the 2012 window closes in 2017; maybe around the winter solstice December 21, 2012? Could we seriously be looking at a reversal in the earth’s magnetic field?
Many scientists say yes and they say YES because it has happened many, many times before.
Is the gradual decrease in the earth’s magnetic field another sign of the times? Are we headed to a near zero magnetic field? Will there be longer days and nights, etc.? If we are looking at such an event which the likes of Gregg Braden affirm, then we’re looking at three major events on the horizon.
1-Geological shifts will cause record setting seismic activity, new fault zones, and earthquakes unlike anything we’ve seen. Forget about it California! 
2-Meterrological weather patterns will be unlike anything we have to compare as well. Record rain falls, droughts, a shift in ocean currents upsetting the agricultural balances, and hurricanes from every direction.
3-Social unrest will be the end game as a result of the first two. Political and economic chaos will make the major recession that we’re still in seem elementary. People are already buying up guns and ammunition as fast as they can.
It’s easy to speculate and it’s even easier to come up with wild ideas about this 2012 shift stuff; however, when renowned scientists begin to offer us the possibilities and probabilities with “scientific data” to back them up. It might be time to step back and think.
As the Hopi prophecies have said, “When the heart of man and the mind of man become so distant that they are no longer one, the Earth heals herself through the catastrophic events of change.”
Is that what Mother Earth is doing?

Inverted Field Reversal?

There are a dozen scenarios around the December 21, 2012 Mayan calendar (and other 2012 cultural musings), but one that’s most intriguing and getting the attention of scientists is what’s known as the galactic alignment. Why do hurricanes and tornadoes that strike near or around Topeka, Kansas turn counter-clockwise? Why do toilets flush the water dwon ther drain clockwise in Santiago, Chili? Like who cares?
When a massive tornado skipped over Burnett’s Mound in Topeka, Kansas June 8, 1966 causing $100 million dolalrs in damage and taking more than a dozen lives, I was hiding in the basement as the tornado roared over my head. The last thing I was thinking about was in which direction is this tornado swirling? Nor was I wondering which way the hurricane was swirling when I was in the midst of a hurricane on the South Carolina coast at an earalier age.
So, I think it not strange that only a few (mostly scientists) worry about the potential for my toilet water to flush clockwise (now that I live in Houston, Texas). This is more important than any brown dwarf out there somewhere!
Much like the Tai Chi symbol symbol where the black is on the left, it will end up on the right IF scientists are right. Out in our galaxy there is a giant wheel revolving – we are actually on a slow wobble and the stars are just appearing to revolve. This “precession of the equinoxes” takes 25,800 years to complete one cycle- give or take a week or two.
Greek astronomer Hipparchus (190-120 BC) is widely acknowledged as the discoverer of the precession of the equinoxes, yet the ancient Egyptians and Maya were also aware of it. John Major Jenkins wrote the book, Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 in which he shows that the Maya not only understood precession, but that their 2012 end-date predicted a special happening in our universe.
Our galaxy has a centre which all the stars take millions of years to revolve around, and it is located in the starriest part of the Milky Way, as seen from Earth. On four occasions within the 25,800-year cycle our galactic centre aligns with the sunrise of a solstice or equinox. The last time it occurred was on a fall equinox 6,450 years ago, approximately the dawn of Old World civilisations. On Dec 21, 2012, which is a winter solstice (Northern Hemisphere) this centre will align with our sun once more.
And?
The assumptions are that our basic orientations will be inverted. Jenkins specifically says, “On the level of human civilization, our basic assumptions and foundation values will be exposed, and we will have the opportunity to embrace values long since driven under the surface of our collective consciousness”. A major dimensional shift.
The field-effect reversal that mystics and futurists intuitively feel occurring on this planet bodes an impending pole shift, a literal shift in the position of the Earth’s North Celestial Pole. What all that would mean isn’t totally imaginable, except of course, my toilet bowl water would flow out in a clockwise motion- if I’m still in Houston, Texas.
Carl Jung called this dark possibility of catstrophic events as also an opportunity for an unconscious awakening- enantiodromia. In other words, we’re headed for a major social-societal change wherein a polarization of values will occur (already is with Islam & Christianity as an example), opposites confront each other and the resultant is a whole new set of values.
Are we ever in need of that now! Must we wait until 2102?
